Welcome to our FAQ. Our customers are our priority so we have tried to answer the most common questions below.
Delivery Questions
When will my delivery be despatched?
We despatch our AUSSIE orders on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays via DPD next day delivery, which means your order should arrive the day after its despatch.
Please note we are unable to despatch or deliver on weekends or bank holidays, hence we never despatch our orders on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. As an example, if you place an order on a Thursday, it will usually be despatched on the following Monday but if the Monday is a public holiday it will be despatched on Tuesday.
How much is delivery?

- £6 for orders under £35
- Free for orders of £35 or more (this includes any discounts applied)
We aim to despatch orders within 1–2 business days of your order, and we aim to have the delivery scheduled for next day delivery. As an example, if you order on a Monday, we aim to despatch your order on Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday.While we typically use DPD Next Day Delivery, there may be occasions where we use an alternative courier, which could take a little longer.

Can I track my parcel?
If your parcel is sent via DPD, you’ll receive emails and tracking details so you can monitor progress. If you won’t be home, you can let DPD know a safe place or choose delivery to a neighbour.
We use trusted couriers, but please make sure your delivery details are correct when placing your order. Unfortunately, we can’t be responsible for delays or failed deliveries due to circumstances outside our control, such as:
- Incorrect address details
- Bad weather
- Strikes or courier delays
- Traffic issues
Although we work hard to deliver on time, we can't guarantee specific delivery times — there are just too many variables!
Can I ask that my parcel be delivered to a safe place?
If you won’t be home, you can let DPD know a safe place or choose delivery to a neighbour.
We use trusted couriers, but please make sure your delivery details are correct when placing your order.
What should i do if something goes wrong?
If your parcel arrives damaged or you have concerns, please take a few clear photos and email them to us at hello@aussie-shops.com
We’ll do our best to resolve things quickly and fairly.
Storage and Product Condition on Arrival
Should my pie arrive frozen?
We take great care when packing your pies, which leave us frozen, in insulated packaging with ice packs to keep them safe in transit.
Because each delivery experience is slightly different, here’s how to assess your pies when they arrive:
🔹 If your pies arrive frozen:
- Pop them straight into your freezer
- Use within 1 month of delivery
- A good indicator: If the ice packs are still frozen, your pies are likely still frozen too
🔹 If your pies arrive defrosted but still chilled:
- Store them in your fridge
- Use within 2 days
then follow normal baking instructions.
We do our best to ensure they reach you in great condition, but by ordering frozen items via courier, we kindly ask that you accept responsibility for the product's condition on arrival, as courier environments can vary.
What is your Best Before Date Policy?
We know you can’t inspect products before purchase, so we aim to be as transparent as possible.
Some products may arrive close to or slightly past their Best Before Date. This is because many of our goods are imported from our suppliers in Australia, with limited availability and long lead times. We only send items that are still in good, usable condition.
It’s worth noting:
- Best Before Dates are about quality, not safety. Food may still be perfectly good to eat after this date, although taste or texture may change very slightly.
- This is not the same as a Use By Date, which relates to food safety.
We do our best to show dates on product pages when they’re within 30 days of the Best Before Date. If you'd like to check a product before buying, please don’t hesitate to contact us at hello@aussie-shops.com — we'd be happy to help.
I'm not happy with my product's Best Before Date.
If you receive something that’s:
- Beyond the Best Before Date and we didn’t make that clear upfront, or
- Within two weeks of it, and we didn’t make that clear upfront,
we’ll happily offer a refund or send a replacement (when available). Just drop us a message and we’ll sort it for you.
